CMS cut back unruly leylandii and yew and trimmed some larger storm damaged branches. All trimmings and wood were removed and the garden left tidier than when they started. Would definitely recommend.

As always, Chris made an excellent job of the Tree Pruning. Before starting, we discussed how we wanted the trees to look and he gave advice on what was needed to be done to achieve this.
He left the garden tidy, with all prunings shredded and removed when finished.

Chris and team removed a large conifer from our rear boundary last week and reduced a lilac and a flowering cherry at the front. They came on time, did what they said, consulted us every step of the way and advised us too to get the best outcome for our garden. Chris has done a few jobs for us over several years. He is friendly, professional, keeps excellent communications, and does an amazing job. The most recent work CMS did for us involved clearing a very mature thicket that had once been shrubs, but had become small trees, and clearing a rather large acuba (sp?) and a big ivy bush. Also removing an out-of-control dogwood patch that was about 3 metre diameter. Then the biggest job, which was to take down a very old and large alder that had poor accessibility, and was all but overhanging the slate roof of a big workshop building (eek!) They finished off by grinding back all the stumps so that all areas can go back to grass or be replanted next year. We are beyond impressed with the standard of work. As ever professional, safe, and well under control, with some hefty lumber being brought down from a height, and manoeuvred out through a narrow path. Everything left completely clean and tidy. I don't think we'd ever consider using anyone else for this sort of work - has to be as good as it gets!

came when they said
1 shed and 1 summerhouse right underneath it. went out for they day came back to the tree totally removed
And left it all tidy and not one bit of debris on the sheds and surrounds

Not only did Chris contact me in a timely manner, but he then came and quoted for the job the next day, and within 2 days he was back and the thug of a shrub was long gone. He was very pleasant, thoroughly professional, cleaned up all the mess and gave me advice about my wall. He is a gentleman and his prices were good. I hired CMS Tree Services to carry out work to two trees next to my property that were touching the windows. This was a great decision and I will tell you why.

As we are in a conservation area permission had to be sought from the council, CMS Tree Services submitted the request on my behalf along with supporting photographic evidence taken when they came to quote.

The permission was given by the council some weeks later without any trouble and then a date was arranged with CMS Tree Services for the works to be carried out.

On the day I found Chris and his colleague to work extremely carefully going to great lengths to ensure the results were as expected - and they are!

The trees are now well away from the house giving me assurance the roots will also be kept back. The bedrooms have more light and the trees we love look great.

A lapsed privet hedge covering the garage was also heavily pruned back and the overall price was competitive with the invoice arriving promptly. I would use CMS Tree Services again and not hesitate to highly recommend them to others.
